Prompt: Write a review And Then There Were None that promotes it to a middle school student, teacher and/or parent.  Indentify the title and author.  Make sure that your target audience iss obvious.

Response: The mystery novel, And The There Were None  by, Agatha Christie is definetly one of my favorite books. This novel is a suspensful page turner filled with surprises left and right. The author uses a mysterious tone throughout the novel to keep you uncertain of what is really taking place in the novel.  And Then There Were None takes place on a small island called, Indian Island; which is off the coast off Devon Coast. There are ten main characters, all ten are the inhabitants of this mystery island. All the Day by day, they start to collect more clues about the mystery murders. The biggest clue is that all of the murders follow a poem. And Then There Were None is a great novel that I recomend for ages 12 and up. I give it a four star rating for sure.

Question: Identify some conflicts in your novel. Which do you think will turn out to be a main conflict? Why do you thinks this.

There are many conflicts in the novel, And Then There Were None. Some minor conflicts are if the characters killed the people they were accused of murdering, why did U.N. Owen choose Indian island, and if they did murder the people on the record than what was their motive. Some larger conflicts are who is U.N. Owen and why are the 10 characters on Indian Island. I think that the main conflict will become who is U.N. Owen. I think this because all of the other minor conflicts can be answered after the who is U.N. Owen is answered.

Prompt: Choose one passage from your novel. Revise it to make it more descriptive and visual.

Original Passage:

Young Elmer Robson, the American Millionaire, had actually built the place. Spent thousands on it, so it was said. Every mortal luxury…

Edited Version:

Young Elmer Robson, who rumor was built the place, had spent thousands on it. It was no big deal though for this American Millionaire. It was said he was the perfect catch, exuberantly handsome, rich as it gets, and the sweetest man you could ever meet. I mean who else would put every mortal luxury in such a place?
